I can't explain it: Man buys snow on eBay for $200. Can't wait to bid on some sunshine. Sheesh. I'll sell you some snow for $198.

One Brownco gone...The Broncos axe Andre Patterson, who worked with the Cleveland Browns defensive line with former Browns /current Broncos Courtney Brown, Ebenezer Ekuban, Michael Myers, Gerard Warren and Kenard Lang.

Downtown Denver has grocery stores! Cook's Fresh Market at 16th and Glenarm Place is new.
Also around, Pacific Mercantile at 19th and Lawrence and Hoa's Groceries at 14th and Tremont

And you knew this already but might as well mention it: The Legislature gets started with Dems in control, and a Dem is governor too. Let's see what they can get done.

Darrent Williams

Denver police need the public's help finding who shot and killed Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams. There's a $2,000 reward for good info. But the AP article includes this bit on how difficult it might be to get tips:

...the Rev. Leon Kelly, who helps Denver area teenagers escape gangs and drugs, suggested the specter of gang involvement might silence anybody with key information.

"You don't want the bad guys to win, but if you do the right thing, what do you get?" Kelly said. "Two thousand dollars? That's not even enough to take care of your funeral."
