Balcony garden
The Delicatessen garden (which is to say a planter with a snow tomato plant and a pepper plant in it) is potted and ready to see if it can survive a summer of novice care and un-green thumbs on a Capitol Hill balcony. We got our plants, soil, organic fertilizer and a lot of good advice from Urban Roots on 10th and Acoma. The planter came from K-mart, which has potting soil on sale right now, by the way.
