Meese

Meese played to a packed, sold-out house Friday night to celebrate signing onto Atlantic Records. It was a night for the fans, with Meese giving away 3-song CD samplers and cards for a free download of their single "Start of It," and copies of their full-length album for a mere three bucks (free w/ a T-shirt! How bout that!) Pint-sized Patrick Meese pranced like David Bowie, there was a full-on light show going, and Meese played all the crowd pleasers. They also played "Colder Where You're From" (hope I got the name right) -- an aptly titled song about how when you go back home, things aren't quite the same as you remembered. Plus Nathan and Patrick Meese are from Cleveland, so xceppin' fer this week, it probably is colder in Cleveland than Denver most of the time. Another song dealt w/ Patrick's stint in rehab as a teen. Anyway, the crowd ate it up. Meese will be back for more shows in the new year. Stay tuned
