Olga Kern is playing with the Colorado Symphony this weekend. The CSO says if you can't go in person, you can listen live on public radio. What do you think: a good idea, or shooting themselves in the foot?

a good idea. more publicity, more accessibility. radio will never be the same as hearing a performance live, and might whet people's appetites to come to the symphony hall.

Good point. Although, fence sitters on buying tickets might decide to bail and just listen on the radio instead, especially once the season gets rolling and it starts snowing out
