Mom and Dad cooked up lots of good stuff to eat over the holidays. We had roast duck, menudo, hot pot (w/ shrimp and squid and mussels), abalone, steak, homemade hash browns, fried cashews, squab, among other goodies. But we also had skate! Mom's recipe is to bake it with ginger, black beans, soy sauce, scallions. Skin peels right back after cooking.

Is it blasphemy to say I like listening to Telekinesis' recordings more than listening to them live? That's not to say their show at the Hi-Dive wasn't fun.
